Graduation Ceremony at the INDO-GERMAN TRAINING CENTRE in Pune

The INDO-GERMAN TRAINING CENTRE in Pune hosted the graduation ceremony for the class of 2024 of the Executive Business Management (EBM) program on March 22, 2025, which was also attended by two employees of VULKAN Technologies (Mr. Suraj Jathar, Senior Engineer and Mr. Nikhil Gote, Deputy Manager). In addition to the 50 graduates, the event was attended by faculty members, executives of the companies represented and proud family members. The Managing Director of Vulkan Technologies, Mr. Rajesh Mishra, was invited as the chief guest.

The ceremony began with the arrival and registration of the guests, followed by a warm welcome address by the Director of IGTC, Beena Nair. Following the welcome address, members of the faculty members shared their insights, reflecting on the journey and achievements of the graduates.

In his keynote address, Mr. Mishra emphasized the solid partnership between the Indo-German Training Centre and Vulkan Technologies. This collaboration, which has evolved over the last decade, is the epitome of global partnership and educational excellence, he said. To date, over 20 VULKAN Technologies employees have successfully completed the EBM program, acquiring important skills and knowledge.

Positive Outlook Despite Some Challenges

Mr. Mishra highlighted the importance of continuous learning, adaptability and strong communication skills as key areas for graduates to focus on as they progress in their careers. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance to ensure sustainable productivity and well-being. In light of the current geopolitical challenges, he explained the impact on Indian businesses and the need to navigate these uncertainties while maintaining growth and competitiveness. Despite these challenges, the long-term outlook for India remained optimistic, with a focus on sustainable growth and strategic investments.

The ceremony also included the sharing of key insights from mentors and company representatives, who shared valuable perspectives on professional growth and development. The graduates were then presented with trophies and certificates recognizing their remarkable achievements. Over the course of the program, they developed advanced business knowledge, critical thinking, strategic decision making and leadership skills. These achievements have enabled them to take on greater responsibility and contribute more effectively to their organizations.

Vote of Thanks, Exchange of Experiences and Networking

The ceremony ended with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all attendees and contributors. The graduates were encouraged to remain connected with their alma mater and peers, continuing to strive for excellence in all their future endeavours. At the lunch that followed, attendees had the opportunity to network, share experiences and celebrate the graduates’ success.

Training, based on the German dual system of practical and theoretical learning, is one of the most important tasks and services of the German Chambers of Industry and Commerce abroad. To extend this service to member companies in India and provide them with a common platform for management training, the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry established the Indo-German Training Center (IGTC) in Mumbai in 1991.

We congratulate the graduates of VTI on successfully completing the EBM program!
