We are delighted to share that Vulkan Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (VTI) Pirangut plant, has once again proven its dedication to sustainability by achieving the prestigious IGBC (Indian Green Building Council) Gold Rating, this time for its existing building constructed in 2014-15. Earlier, VTI has been awarded IGBC Gold Rating, for the new expansion project in 2022.
This milestone comes as a continuation of our green journey, having earlier earned the IGBC Gold Rating for New Construction. This latest certification highlights our ability to uphold sustainability standards not only in new developments but also in the efficient management and retrofitting of existing infrastructure.
Securing the IGBC Gold Rating for an existing building involved rigorous evaluation over the last 2 years for energy efficiency, water management, indoor environmental quality, and waste reduction practices. The building now features enhanced systems such as renewable energy integration, advanced rainwater harvesting mechanisms, and optimized waste management protocols.
These upgrades ensure that we continue to minimize our environmental footprint while creating a healthier, more productive workspace for our employees. This recognition is a testament to Vulkan’s relentless pursuit of excellence in sustainability.
