In a remarkable display of social responsibility, employees of Vulkan Technologies Pvt. Ltd., (VTI) participated in blood donation drive organized by, Jankalyan Blood Centre, within the company premises on 22/11/2024.

Jankalyan, founded in 1983, has earned the reputation of the most reliable and dependable blood bank in Pune with its meritorious efforts. It has successfully conducted more than 6,500 camps, with over 0.48 million donors and 0.62 million happy beneficiaries.

VTI under Corporate Social Responsibility has donated fully equipped ambulance to Jankalyan Blood centre for conducting blood camps. Also, an important centrifuge machine required for separating whole blood into red blood cells, platelets, and plasma has been provided by VTI to them.

100 Employees from various departments volunteered enthusiastically, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in saving lives. Among the donors was, Mr. Rajesh Mishra, who set an inspiring example by personally contributing to the noble cause.

“Donating blood is a small act with a significant impact. I am proud to see our team coming together to make a difference,” said Rajesh Mishra during the event.

This initiative also served as a platform to raise awareness about the health benefits of blood donation and its life-saving potential. Team of medical professionals were present to ensure a smooth and safe process, providing donors with health tips and refreshments post-donation.

Company employees expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to society, with many pledging to make blood donation a regular practice. This drive reflects Vulkan’s dedication not only to innovation in its field but also to the well-being of the community it serves.
