The Rotary Green Expo took place in Pune from February 28 to March 1, 2026. During this event, Vulkan Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (VTI) was presented with the Rotary Green CSR Award 2026 by Rotary International District 3131.
This award highlights Vulkan India’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, environmental protection, and community development.
Rotary International introduced “Supporting the Environment” as its seventh area of focus in 2020. In line with this vision, Rotary District 3131 launched its flagship initiative “Green Society”, which has since expanded to include several areas such as “Green Factory” and the newly launched “Green School” program. The Rotary Green Expo brings together citizens, institutions, and industry leaders to promote practical, scalable solutions for a greener future.
VTI has consistently integrated sustainability into its business processes and corporate culture. The company’s plant in Pune is proud to hold both the GreenCo Rating and Green Building Certification, both of which underscore its commitment to responsible resource management and environmentally friendly operations.
Beyond operational excellence, Vulkan India’s CSR efforts focus on impact outside of its manufacturing facilities, with several key projects implemented in collaboration with Rotary Clubs. These projects have made a measurable contribution to environmental protection and sustainable community development:
